This session will focus on some fresh ideas and strategies using already tried and true literature that can engage students in the learning of math concepts. Recent literature will be shared that will get students to think about math concepts but the math processes or competencies as well. Reasoning, problem solving and communication will be presented in a visual way that will help encourage students to engage in mathematical discussion.
