We are all responsible for teaching our students to be citizens in a digital age. Having these skills will help students socially, emotionally, and academically. Technology has helped us make great strides in helping our students with literacy, accessibility, and creativity and in order to meet our students where they are, we need to continue to be life long learners, especially in the realm of digital literacy. This session will provide an overview of what GYPSD has to help support you and your students in the digital world. We will explore assistive programs to support literacy and communication, resources for digital citizenship, and look at the tools we have to dive into the world of coding at any age and any subject. No experience required! We all start somewhere when it comes to technology.
